Pick-up at your hotel, riad, the airport or the station in Fes. A day to discover Fes el Bali, the largest medieval medina in the world: the Bou Inania madrasa, the Karaouine, the tanneries and the craftsmen's souks. Then local guide on request.

Fes – Chefchaouen

We drive through the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, the blue city. Afternoon free to walk its blue streets and climb to the Spanish mosque for the sunset.

Chefchaouen – Akchour waterfalls

A nature day in the Rif: walk to the Akchour waterfalls and God's Bridge, then back to Chefchaouen for the evening.

Morning in Chefchaouen, then the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes with Bab Mansour, before arriving in Fes.

Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga desert camp

From Fes we cross the Middle Atlas by Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, continue by Midelt and the Ziz valley to Merzouga. Finally, camel ride at sunset into Erg Chebbi and night in the desert camp.

Day 6

Merzouga – a full day in the desert

A day to enjoy the Sahara: visit the Gnawa village of Khamlia and their music, the market town of Rissani, a nomad family and the seasonal lake of Merzouga. Afterwards, optional quad, buggy or sandboarding. Second night in the desert.

Merzouga – Todra gorge – Dades valley

Sunrise over Erg Chebbi, camel ride back and breakfast. Also, we drive to the Todra gorge for a walk and continue to the Dades valley for the night.

Dades – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate

A relaxed morning in the Dades gorge, then the Valley of Roses, Skoura and Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate – Draa valley – Zagora desert camp

We cross the Tizi n'Tinifift pass and follow the palm groves and kasbahs of the Draa valley to Zagora. Then camel ride at sunset and night in the desert camp.

Zagora – Draa valley – Marrakech

Yes. The tour is private, so we can add a night, change the hotel or finish in Fes instead of Marrakech. Just tell us what you would like.

Yes, families travel with us all the time. We can plan more stops on the long driving days and choose family tents in the camp.

What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, a scarf and a warm layer for the desert night. A small bag for the camp is enough — your big luggage stays safely in the vehicle.
